Microsoft Power BI for Business Intelligence & Data Analytics
نظرة عامة
Learn Microsoft Power BI from the foundations to advanced reporting, including Power Query, data modelling, DAX, dashboards and an introduction to AI-powered insights and Copilot. No SQL, Python or database experience required.
Course Information
Course Philosophy
Power BI is more than a chart-building tool. Great business intelligence starts with understanding the question, checking data quality, building a reliable model, defining accurate measures and presenting results that decision-makers can trust. At Continuum X, learners practise the entire process—not simply individual features.
Why Learn This Course?
- •Develop end-to-end Power BI skills within one standalone course, without taking SQL or Python first.
- •Clean and combine real-world data using Power Query rather than relying on perfect sample spreadsheets.
- •Learn star-schema modelling and DAX so your KPIs remain correct as reports become more interactive.
- •Build dashboards for sales, HR, inventory and management reporting with a clear business purpose.
- •Understand practical Power BI Service, refresh, sharing and security concepts—including licence boundaries.
- •Explore built-in AI insights and understand how Copilot can assist with reports and DAX in eligible Microsoft environments.
- •Create portfolio-ready reports and explain the business recommendations behind them.
Prerequisites
No prior Power BI, SQL, Python, programming, database-server or data-analysis experience is required. Basic computer skills and familiarity with files and simple spreadsheets are helpful. Learners need a computer capable of running Microsoft Power BI Desktop (normally Windows); compatible access arrangements must be confirmed before enrolment. A stable internet connection is recommended for live sessions and optional online demonstrations. Copilot features require an eligible paid Fabric or Power BI Premium capacity and administrative enablement; individual Copilot access is not included with the course. Where unavailable, Copilot is covered through instructor demonstrations or guided examples while core Power BI labs remain accessible without Copilot.
